Jack Steenhof joins Nomodic Board of Directors

Nomodic Modular Structures Inc. (Nomodic) is proud to announce the addition of Jack Steenhof, Senior Structural Modular Building Engineer and President of Steenhof Building Services Group (SBSG), to its Board of Directors.

Steenhof brings over 35 years of progressive construction experience to the Nomodic team, with a focus on sustainability, automation, and digitization. His commitment to pursuing innovative approaches to construction has led SBSG to become the preferred engineering firm for top modular manufacturers throughout Canada and the United States.

“I am honoured to join the Nomodic Board of Directors,” said Steenhof. “Our work with Nomodic has been rewarding and exciting. I look forward to working with Nomodic to continue to deliver spaces that are designed, built, and run with less resources and waste, while improving the lives of those who inhabit them.”

“Jack Steenhof’s expertise and reputation as a leading professional within the emerging offsite construction industry are unparalleled”

As the need for quick delivery of high-performance sustainable buildings grows, Steenhof will offer valuable perspective as Nomodic continues to develop and implement emerging technologies designed to expand capacity and accelerate delivery of offsite construction projects from coast to coast, particularly in the provinces of Ontario and British Columbia.

“Jack Steenhof’s expertise and reputation as a leading professional within the emerging offsite construction industry are unparalleled,” said Kevin Read, President and CEO of Nomodic. “This addition continues to round out Nomodic’s service offering, especially within Ontario and throughout Central and Eastern Canada, and speaks to our team’s growing strength and diversity.”

With an experienced team committed to improving workflow and energy efficient design, Nomodic is well-positioned to lead a ‘green’ restart of Canada’s economy while successfully and sustainably delivering on programs such as the CMHC’s $1 billion Rapid Housing Initiative, which aims to rapidly build affordable housing across Canada.
