An Inside Look at Peterson Place

Go modular, indeed!
BC Housing has written a fantastic case study for Peterson Place, our modular construction project in Surrey, B.C., in which we assembled 57 units in a space that could be moderately referred to as a ‘tight squeeze.’ The building was completed in December 2020.
From BC Housing: “The new building would be more than 300 feet long when complete, forcing the construction crane to reposition several times throughout the build. Each move required a painstaking attention to detail and safety to make it work.”

Craning (July 2020)
As our construction manager Giovanni Festa recalls in the article, constant communication with the housing operator (Fraserside Community Services Society), strict safety procedures, and attention to detail all contributed to a successful build that now provides comfortable homes for 38 deserving individuals.
Peterson Place will always be special to all of us at Nomodic. Helping communities provide affordable housing and getting people into new homes is just one of the ways we strive to leave things better.
